Dr. Jason Davidson: Empowering Performance at DOCSTRENGTH

Dr. Jason Davidson brings over two decades of experience in human performance, strength, and tactical readiness. As the founder of DOCSTRENGTH LLC, he combines a deep clinical background with elite coaching expertise to help tactical professionals perform at their highest level—and sustain it for the long haul.

With a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (2002), a Psychology degree (1995), and a long list of advanced certifications—including RSCC*D, CSCS, USAW National Coach, ART, FRC, and SOCP—Dr. Davidson has built a system that bridges the gap between clinical insight and performance training. His work is rooted in years of hands-on coaching, manual therapy, and program development for some of the most demanding populations in the world.

A lifelong martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt, his passion for strength and movement was shaped early by his own powerlifting coach—also a chiropractor. That foundation evolved into a mission: to serve the tactical community, particularly Special Forces operators, with programs that are proven, purpose-driven, and performance-first.

When he’s not coaching or training, Dr. Davidson is a devoted husband and father of three—and you'll often find him fishing when it's time to recharge.

Testimonials

“I came to Jason half broken, 10+ in SOF was taking its toll. We sat and talked about my injuries, recovery, goals and made a plan. Jason was meticulous in his programming, covering all physical requirements of my job, as well as accommodating the physical rehab I needed. He made changes as we both saw fit and tailored the training to meet any course requirements I had. I’m over 40 now and because of his programming I’m still able to keep doing the job to the high standards that are required of me.”
-Adam B.
“Jason came highly recommended as I was looking to make my training more tactically applicable. His passion and knowledge for fitness is clearly evident in his programming. While following his training, I’ve worked a variety of modalities while feeling and moving better than ever before.”
-Carson G.
“If you’re wanting to find yourself in an elite organization it starts with passing your respective selection. With all the templated, cookie cutter programs across the board, nothing can compare to an individualized, regimented program that fits your specific needs to guarantee your physical readiness for the selection process. You will find that with Docstrength. His vast knowledge, depth of experience, and unequivocal passion for steering prospective operators in the right direction will guarantee you a program that is specifically designed for your success. Not to brag, but I recently WALKED a 6-mile ruck in 67 minutes at 45lbs, across mountainous terrain in less than favorable weather conditions. All courtesy to Docstrength’s programming. Don’t just take it from me, but the multitude of operators who continue to display unparalleled physical feats throughout their preparation, selection, graduation and long careers in Tier 2 and Tier 1 organizations, and it’s all thanks to Docstrength.
-Mitchell W.

“No BS recommendation from a 16-year Special Forces Green Beret and Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt. I’ve trained with Jason for four years, and his expertise, dedication, and leadership are second to none. As an athlete who leads by example, he pushes himself and his clients to achieve peak performance. Jason specializes in military and tactical fitness. He designs training programs that build strength, endurance, and resilience while ensuring real-world applicability. Need to get ready for Selection? That is no problem. Jason can custom-build programs that will help you crush your expectations. As an added benefit, his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expertise further enhances his coaching, making him an invaluable resource for those seeking elite-level training.
Recovering from an injury? No problem. Jason helped me recover from a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL on my right knee within six months. I was back on the mat, stronger, faster, and more agile than before. Jason goes above and beyond in and out of the gym; he offers guidance, recovery, nutrition, and mindset techniques to ensure peak performance. If you're looking for a performance expert to help you meet your goals, look no further; Jason is the one for you.”

"Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of working with Jason as a professional in combat sports and a tactical athlete. His programming has been instrumental in my development, helping me turn weaknesses into strengths. Jason’s ability to identify and build upon my unique capabilities has been remarkable. He has shared a wealth of knowledge that has transformed my strength and conditioning workouts, leading to significant improvements in my performance. I am incredibly grateful for his guidance and expertise—he has truly elevated my training to the next level!"
- Noah B.
“I, MAJ Jonathan Turnbull, began a strength and conditioning program with Dr. Davidson six months after I was gravely injured by an Isis suicide bomber. Dr. Davidson’s program not only aided in my overall recovery but got me back into a suitable fighting shape. Since I have begun working with Dr. Davidson, I have run multiple long-distance races, competed in CrossFit competitions, and I am physically better than I was prior to the explosion. If you need statistics, I would state that this training got me from a very weak 120 lbs. to a very strong and capable 198 lbs. Additionally, I should mention that after over 30 surgeries, and one of my injuries leaving me totally blind, Dr. Davidson was able to create an effective program that was easy for me to complete with my disability.”
- Jon T.
"My ODA followed Jason Davidson’s programming.  He tailored the program for us to have a primary focus on anaerobic fitness and mobility, with secondary focuses on strength and aerobic fitness.  This was by far the best ‘bang for your buck’ training I personally had ever gone through, and my entire ODA agreed.  We had never felt more mission ready.  This is not only in terms of physical fitness, but also overall wellbeing.  We were more mobile and pain-free while still being able to improve ruck/run times and Army Combatives capabilities.  The training was challenging but never left you feeling burnt out or over-trained.  His coaching style is the perfect mix of humility and expertise while finding objective ways to push you to improve.   We really bought into Jason’s coaching and programming methods for over two years and never regretted it."
- Paul B.
“I trained with Jason for almost 4 years straight during my time at 3rd Special Forces Group. I met Jason within a month of reporting to Group and met him for the first time when he came over to offer a few squat pointers. I wasn’t even working with him at the time. As a professional coach, Jason saw an opportunity to offer value and did so. That value-add on his part, and dedication to his craft, is what sets Jason apart from other coaches and why I’ve relied upon him so heavily over the years. As a coach, Jason is incredibly engaging and dynamic. His programming reflects these qualities. Over the years, Jason adapted my training upon request to reflect upcoming requirements and he never ever let me down. Due to his programming, and my trust in it, my fitness has steadily increased over the years even as I age. I credit a lot of this constant improvement to Jason’s stewardship of my total health and resilience despite the complication life in SOF can present. Jason has always met me where I’m at and provided a clear path to improvement. He coached consistently during deployments despite time zone differences and always made time to run me through post-deployment evaluations to determine future training emphasis. Jason is a great coach and friend and I absolutely could not more fully endorse him or his training methodologies.”
- Shea R.
"I had the pain and pleasure of training with Doc for 5 years. I was a 37-year-old who had to have bilateral hip replacements at 35 when I met him. I was desperately trying to get back to doing the things I loved and then some. He pushed me harder than I have ever been pushed before. He saw potential in me that I didn't see in myself. The first day we met he told me to “get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable". I knew I was in for something more intense than I have ever experienced previously. I went from a size 10 to a size 2 and was the strongest I had ever been. I was able to do things that I would never have tried before because of my new found confidence and strength.  Doc cares a great deal about his clients both mentally and physically, to this day I still hear his voice in my head when dealing with anything particularly difficult and it helps me push through and complete the task. "Just keep moving". Those words are my mantra now. He knows how to get the best out of anyone he trains, that's his superpower. I will forever be grateful for the time I got to train with him and for the impact he still has in my life today."
- Heidi S.
"Jason is an incredible coach and a wonderful person. He genuinely cares about his athletes and strives to personalize every aspect of his programming to fit their needs. I have seen improvements in movement patterns through accessory work, strength gains due to smart progressive overloading, and an increase in work capacity with challenging conditioning. I've never been happier with a coach."
— Nicole B.
"Every now and then, if you're lucky, you may run into a coach who's training leaves a positive impact that continues to ripple through all phases of your career. For me, Doc's training was so fundamentally sound that its foundation supported a multitude of goals for the better part of two decades. Doc's competency with strength ad conditioning training is a rare and outlying skillset, one that has been integrated long ahead of the curves and trends of popular fitness and combat sports culture. Doc's commitment to independently curate effective methodology based on his own understanding, and to personalize that with the needs of each unique athlete he encounters is above and beyond what I expect in a coach, and has inspired me in my coaching journey for a very long time.  I don't know any coaches who deeply engage the breadth and depth of disciplines that Doc does. Whether it's tactical strength, energy system training, power/speed training, pain management, mobility or any other goal related to your health and performance, I highly recommend this coach!
